Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read this site, request an invite, sign in and run their posts, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Short version: we aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA, we test with a keyboard and a screen reader, and if something is in your way we fix it.
1. Our commitment
getdailyz.com and the Dailyz app at app.getdailyz.com are built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is the standard we measure ourselves against and the standard every new page and screen is checked against before it ships.
2. What that means in practice
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. A visible focus ring shows where you are, and a "Skip to content" link is the first thing the Tab key reaches.
- Every form field has a label a screen reader announces, not only a placeholder.
- Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text meets the AA contrast minimum against its background, including the small print in captions and the footer.
- Links and buttons have a clickable area of at least 24 by 24 pixels.
- Pages are written in plain English, use real headings in order, and keep working when text is enlarged to 200 percent.
- Motion respects your system's reduced-motion setting.
3. Known gaps
As of the review dated above, we are not aware of any part of getdailyz.com or the app sign-in screen that fails WCAG 2.1 AA. When we find one, or you tell us about one, it is listed here with the date we expect to have it fixed.
4. How we check
Each release is tested by tabbing through every page, reading the accessibility tree for labels and roles, measuring colour contrast on the actual rendered colours, and running the pages at phone width. Findings are fixed before the release goes to customers.
5. Tell us about a barrier
If any part of the site or the app is hard or impossible for you to use, email support@getdailyz.com. Say which page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use if you know them. A person reads every message and replies within two business days. If you would rather not use email, reply to any message you have received from us and it reaches the same people.
6. Changes to this statement
This statement is reviewed whenever the site or the app changes in a way that affects how it can be used, and at least once a year. The date at the top is the last review.
